Corrections Policy

How we handle errors in our content and what to do if you find one.

Our commitment to accuracy

Accurate deadline information matters — a wrong date could result in a taxpayer filing late and incurring a surcharge. We take factual errors seriously and correct them as quickly as possible.

How we handle corrections

Once we receive a correction report, we:

  1. Verify the reported error against official Revenue sources
  2. Correct the page if the error is confirmed
  3. Update the "Last updated" date on the page
  4. Acknowledge significant corrections with a note where appropriate

We aim to review and correct confirmed errors within 2 business days.

Scope of corrections

We correct factual errors — wrong dates, wrong rates, wrong legislative references. We do not treat differences of interpretation as errors, but we will clarify our reasoning if challenged.
